Actually had it done by the seamstress who does the alterations at the RL store here. I would expect any experienced tailor can do it, so if you have any local men’s shops, ask them where they direct customers needing suit or other complex alterations. If all else fails, ask. I’d expect someone who can’t do it will recognize their limitations and just tell you they can’t do it, rather than risk ruining your garment. Good luck. Glad I did it, just totally different look
So reached out to a few local tailors, and a few in New York. Seems that most do not want to go the route of performing an alteration at the arm hole and would much rather do it at the bottom sleeves. I guess in my last ditch attempt here, would you consider sharing the store location you typically go to? I would very much like to see if they could perform a similar "procedure" here to keep the jacket looking as naturally as possible. Would very much appreciate any information.

Stag's treating us. 30% off shirts now, in addition to pants and denim. Just picked this up.

Stag now has 30% off sweaters & sweatshirts. I don't have any hoodies and just a few sweaters (prefer overshirts), so picked up these two, I like the wash & colors:

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
