No clue to your question but I love how it looks. In general though wax cotton if you wash you need to reapply right (regardless what type of cleaning)?

Edit I would google Barbour wax cotton care instructions type of thing
Not necessarily. I have a pair of Man-Tle waxed pants and the instructions say that washing creates patterns and a patina. They recommend only washing in cold water.

Anyone know if S translate to 36 or 38 in this?

I guess if base on this S=38 (and short) wish it was XS (but jacket might get too short?)

That's a tough call. It might be one of those pieces you just have to try on in person. But then again, if you always take a small in RRL shirts, it should hold true for jackets and other tops. Sorry I can't help since I don't own one of these. I think Gnatty has the orange plaid one.

"I'm sick to death, like I've never been sick before..." about sums up how I feel about Japan's resellers of RRL on eBay over the past four years:
  • selection? the least good pieces, the flops, the bottom tier of quality
  • ridiculous, useless sizes
  • absurdly inflated prices
  • no measurements, ever
  • nonsense words in every listing's title
  • no description, nothing helpful...
Basically, effectively checking every box for unlocking the wack seller "achievement"

BLEH
I feel you and agree with them Japanese resell prices . Way over priced

Does anyone have these limited edition waxed canvas jeans? I normally wear 30 or 31 with belt but managed to find a pair only in 29 online. They are currently fitted, very stiff and not very comfortable but not impossible. I'm wondering if they will stretch out a bit with wear.

Also, how do you care for the wax coating? Can you wash these in the machine or dry clean only?

Thanks.

I haven’t had them long but took my normal size and they’re really comfortable, specifically more room in the thighs than most RRL jeans. waist is maybe a hair too big but it’s close, I got an auto email that there was a pair in a store so had to make a decision. SA measured tagged 32 waist at 33. I kind of figured they won’t stretch as much as denim, given how much harder canvas seems, but others here probably know way more than me about threads and weaving/manufacturing. I can live with slightly big vs. slightly small. They do sit a bit higher than some jeans cuts so you could be okay

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
