Incontrovertible proof Zippy has longer arms than me. This is a size M. If you don’t like my dusty mirror, you can fight me

I usually cuff jacket sleeves, so the extra length was not that immediately noticeable to me. I also sized done, which helps. I don't think the sleeve length should be a deal breaker for anyone who likes the jacket a lot.

Agreed, and if it bothers me, I’ll try the suggestion the SA gave and see if that makes a difference. It’s a great jacket.

And man, at 6’ and 167 lbs, how in the world could that translate into a S for me; just does not compute lol

They do look 2-3 inches too long on gnatty.

So which jeans offer a nice straight fit? 8.5” leg opening

I would say the low straights are worth a shot. The straights have a higher rise that you may or may not like (I tend to like them), but the low straight is my go to for a clean, straight fit

At least, yes. I find when cuff is buttoned tight, the sleeves sit around the wrist, but then the sleeve “stacks” although I don’t find that unacceptable. As others have said, it’s a great jacket, so sleeves being a little long wasn’t a deal breaker for me

I think Straight might get there, I have some really old low straight and current low straight, I feel like the current ones are slimmer than before, and if you’re true waist 30 definitely don’t think they will be 8.5in. Vintage 5 pocket might also be another choice? Though these are really wide like 9.5in?
