Frankly, I can't fathom laying out that much money for such a basic, plain-looking sweater.
I get that. For me it is part of my goal to have enough RRL pieces that I can wear to the office. Dress codes are not that formal in the Netherlands in general and where I work specifically, but from time to time I need something a bit more formal looking than jeans and a western shirt or work shirt with a pattern.

I could just as well buy a wool knit, even made in Europe, for less than this one. But what is the fun of that when I love RRL and that look.

What do you reckon the price will be on the workshirt? $795?
Not a huge fan of the overland stuff except for the khaki deck jacket and maybe the olive quilted shirt jacket. But there's a lot to like in the Montauk Point in addition to that brown bear workshirt.
I like most of this stuff except for the overalls and the yet again quilted navy shirt jacket.

Has anyone dabbled into Naiomi Glasses x Polo? Just got an email about the next collection "Denim Daydream." There's already been some nice pieces that would fit in great with RRL. I like the western shirts with faux turquoise snaps (minus the Polo branding).

Probably too ostentatious for most of you but I'd snatch this coat up without a second thought if it were in my budget. 😅

All I see are giant NES controller directional pads in so many of the pieces. I like a few of the pieces but they seem awfully expensive for regular Polo quality.

Polo quality also have more variation though they can be pretty good too, just hard to say
Agree, Polo stuff can be pretty good.

I was thinking more of the initial collection sweaters and hoody I saw in store.
The sweaters were pretty standard Polo quality but at RRL price.
The hoody was similarly priced.

I haven't been following the NG stuff that closely but I'm assuming it hasn't been hitting the sales so it's effectively much more expensive than regular Polo.

I bought one of the sweaters from the first PRL x Naiomi Glasses drop and I really like it. Yes, the price was approaching RRL knitwear prices but the design was more interesting than a lot of the RRL stuff over the past few years (except some of the patchwork or fair isle stuff that are about 3x the price) but the quality seems very good and the sizing is perfect for me.

I've also got one of the Naiomi Glasses western shirts with the snap buttons and it's pretty nice too, though not really that much different than a typical PRL western shirt.

FWIW, for anybody interested in the Naiomi Glasses stuff, it seems like their sizing is more inline with typical PRL sizing than RRL sizing.

I'm interested to see what the final drop has.

Not really, for no other reason than the stuff just doesn't appeal to me in particular, and most fo designs just seem aimed more at the Marfa-type cosplay crowd, and just a little too "loud" for me. Also, some of the comments I've read in this thread led me to believe its just Polo extensions done by a different designer, which also doesn't thrill me. Nothing against Polo, I have some of the stuff from that line, but just doesn't appeal to me as much.

TRR has crap measurements in general, too bad this is final sale else they can be return with a fee (ie a bit gamble), though at $50+shipping it’s pretty close to might as well just gamble
