Finally tracked down this rascal in my size. It’s definitely high quality and a great pattern, and with the rare RRL functional pocket— both the side-on-seam and interior pockets are quite large. One quirk is that the fit is pretty boxy at the chest, but the armholes are high so other than a vest it’s not the best for layering, despite the boxy fit.

Appreciate it Harvey. They are Billy Reid Griffin suede ropers from 2017. BR doesn't sell boots or shoes any longer but he put out a pretty great line for a few years that were handmade in Italy.
