you are creeped out by a plate?
Typical field chino fit so big and floppy. Fabric is fairly heavy.Anyone have the frog skin Camo pants? Are they lighter weight? And does the waist run the typical size big? Thanks. View attachment 1614845
You caught me using a poor choice of words. But still seem to be missing the larger point I was trying to make. The RRL brand is not dinner plates and tablecloths. I think it strays from the brand focus on rugged vintage workwear.you are creeped out by a plate?
The RRL brand is supposed to be rugged vintage workwear and western wear.
Ok, thanks. Looking for warmer weather gear.Typical field chino fit so big and floppy. Fabric is fairly heavy.
That’s your definition, but that’s clearly not RL’s. It’s always interesting to see what happens when customers experience a conflict between what they think the brand is and what the company thinks the brand is. Same in reverse.
Right - this is RRL making it very clear they are a lifestyle brand. At the end of the day, the RRL brand is a business interested in making money and leveraging its cache to do that. Similar to the approach the other RL brands use, it attempts to create an aspirational lifestyle that extends beyond cool clothing.
I wouldn't be surprised if they end up doing something along the lines of the Todd Snyder Land Cruiseractually it would be pretty cool if RL starts to sell vintage motorcycle and car, he has a good eye for those kind of stuff

Okay, so now I’m a little creeped out. Has Ralph just jumped the shark?
Last week the Double RL IG feed posted these RRL logo diner plates (and accompanying bandana table cloth) now on sale.
In my opinion, this is going a tad bit too far. This is starting to now border on the Martha Stewart Home Collection. The RRL brand is supposed to be rugged vintage workwear and western wear. I was okay with the mugs, bottle openers, the blankets (super cool), rugs, collective plates and coasters, but these dinner plates and tablecloth are making me squirm a bit.
I mean really? Are we gonna do throw pillows, towels and custom soap?
The promotional theme was motorcycles and adventure ...... where do the diner plates fit in? Take note that the dinner plates are offered on the RL home page and not the RRL page so I guess there’s the rational and believe me, I apologize in advance to anyone eyeing these plates but dang ...... this is getting overly obsessive.
It’s worthwhile reading some of the IG replies, Horweendreams summed it up nicely ..... “Perfect for when RRL eats your lunch”.
Does the RRL Selvedge Denim ever go on sale?
