i hate to sound like theRRshop or something, but if you aren't super particular about the details, it makes a lot of sense to avoid RRL and just buy polo or rugby.

I agree 100%. It's extremely hard for me to go back to PRL. It makes me feel better knowing that I am wearing something that someone took the time to make it special and unlike most other clothes. Who doesn't have a blue label polo? Everyone does. But who have you seen with the patchwork shirt or the denim shirt or some of the unique washes in jeans? I haven't seen any in San Diego, although I know there are a few (3 or 4) that I know where it.

I dont see the point of paying the RRL premium for tops. The jeans/chinos/workpants however, are worth every damn penny

To me it's like buying a white tee, I could just get a cheap one from Topman/Primark or spend much more on a well made one from the likes of Albam. They look pretty much the same but I go for quality as that's just my personal pref, I'd rather spend more on well made clothes.

I am thinking of getting some oxford and chambray. They are around 65-85 for the oxford and 100-120 for the chambray. They seem reasonable for that price.

I am comparing them to Gitman and Epaulet. Is that a fair comparison in terms of quality ?

Can someone post pix of RRL shirts with shirt's size and your measurements, please. I have in my closet some Polo by RL custom fit and they are in any way slim fitting at all, so i'm afraid RRL shirts are not as slim fitted as i expect.
    thank guys

Holiday cashier?? I don't work at Polo outlets or anything, but I do know very little about the merchandising. PSR stands for Past Season Retail, and includes past seasons stock, store returns, online returns and etc. Sometimes they have at 30% off then go 50% and then 75% at least at my local ones. And they are all from NC, where their warehouse is located and that is where the items are being shipping if you order from their online shop.
Same at my local ones, comes in at 30% off and goes to clearance at 50% of that. After a while the 50% becomes 75%. Which if you can use coupons and discounts on top that it can be awesome. Of course sometimes things dont have price tags on them because people rip them off and they just make up a price at the register

    That sounds about right.

Quality is just as good if not better imo

Is there a place online (not private seller) where you can get those selv. officer chinos? I really like the look of those.

I was wrong about the items being 75% off instantly. I rarely make it up to the outlet and the few times I have been everything RRL was 75% off.

I work in operations about 10 hours a week. I get sent different 'tasks' from corporate that help them gauge their stock of the top 10 items for each dept.
