• CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19

The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.

If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

Personally I like the back buckle but you can get a seam ripper for a few bucks and remove the stitching yourself but you’re also going to have to deal with the rivets.

I was hoping the rivits were just attached to the buckle and not the jeans. Any suggestions if there not.

Looks great. Did you cut the tabs off or have a taylor remove them?
Not my jeans. They belong to a member of sufu, Maynard.

In a separate post he noted that he unstitched the straps, eased of the rivets, and stitched an indigo thread over the small holes.

I'm sure it's quite a small job. I'll be doing the same to my RRL denim jacket when I get the chance.

Any chance they will have another big restock? Or is the sale going to end soon?

Low likelihood on restock. Would also say a lot of what they put on their site wasn’t truly available. Very typical for this company.

I placed quite a few orders and only about 10% of the items have shipped. I've had about 10% get canceled too

Mine says “Released”. But it’s been that way for days. Lol. Ralph blows it again
