I gathered that. Thanks for the heads up! Sometimes actual work clothing is required.

What shirt and tie do you plan to wear with it?

All seasons are magical in Yosemite, but the cusp between winter and spring has its own unique charms—small crowds, thundering waterfalls and the endless play of light on ice and stone.

Fortunately for me, sunny days and temperatures in the 40's suited the contents of my suitcase, which included mid-weight pieces from the Ranch—a Mountain Yellow Down Vest (2015), a Buffalo Plaid Flannel Shirt from last fall's collection and some venerable tan cords.

The vest sat in the closet for over a year before the tags came off, but it's been in regular rotation throughout a chilly California winter.

Light, warm and functional, the piece ticks all the checkboxes for updating a classic—the colorful "puffer" vest issued to all young men during the 70s and 80s.

RRL introduced a red version of the same vest in Winter '18.

Is this on the site? Do you need a special code? Cuz I'm not seeing anything.

    Thanks

In store only. Can be used on anything but the summer items that just dropped a couple days ago. Also, it started Friday and I was told it ends Sunday.

For anyone interested, here's pics of the patchwork cardigan in action. Still not convinced I want to keep it because the combo of different fabric types, weights, and textures weirds me out a bit. (Not like I shouldn't have been surprised by that of course, that is the purpose of this piece :p)

I've been looking at that one for months now. Like you, I couldn't justify [another] shawl cardigan even on sale. Looks great on you.

Yeah that one’s a little more Greg than Ralph.

    Edit: I like Greg.

Canoe Club in Boulder. They carry RRL.
Also, great selection of brands similar to RRL (Orslow, Kapital, Iron Heart, Fullcount...)
I’m a local in Denver and I’d go there.
