    Cowboy jacket just came in!
Here are some pics and a write up.

First off, it’s difficult to get the colors right, but looks accurate to the website imo. Best I can describe it as black with a brown glow (see pics in direct sunlight). My pics tend to be a bit yellowy. See also the comparison with a black rigid RRL denim jacket.

Overall, it looks like you’ve been wanderin’ the dusty plains for days on end, then got drunk in a local bar, and were thrown out back into the dust bowl after a bar brawl. Smells like it as well. Cue tumbleweed. Comes with free testosterone. In that regard the design is top notch.

Pocket flap and inner side of the collar are black leather. Strap on the back. “RRL Cowboy” on the buttons.

I’m approx. 5’10 (178cm), 152 lbs (69kg). Size S fits me like a charm. The website measurements are incorrect, but it’s just similar to the other denim jackets.

Ordered through UK site via Borderlinx. Had to pay maybe 40 GBP extra (mandatory insurance if valued above 250 gbp, express shipping) but worked out fine and was fairly fast.

Any more pics/details/questions feel free to ask.

Hey gents! TGIF! Mixing it up today. I’m rocking RRL slim fit Memphis wash denim and the new Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro Flyknit Shadows.

Great looking jacket. I'm the same height/weight as you and have a medium coming to Calif. from NYC... it sounds like it's gonna be too big. Bummer!

Here are some fit pics from today. The Henley is from Levi’s vintage clothing (highly recommended for that 1890s goldminer core). Pants are rrl slim narrow wyatt wash. Boots are viberg color 4s. Belt from our legacy. Hair is all natural.

The M will probably work also depending on how you like the fit. The other denim jacket by RRL that I have is an M. I also have a gamblers jacket in M. I mainly wanted to layer this underneath a winter coat. I usually do take S for RRL though.

Thanks for the detailed (and vivid) writeup. Much appreciated!

Regarding RL website measurements—it's a good idea to ignore them. They are never correct and appear to be the product of a malicious mind.

Thanks Patrick! I’m not a sneaker head, but I used to wear Air Jordan 1s way back in the day. I had to have these. They bring back memories. The Flyknit Shadows are clean and comfortable as fu*k!

Thanks Hank! Yes sir, casual Friday at the office.

It's funny, I've just been reading a lot more about sneakers as I have a 14 year old son who is into them. He spent $170 of his own money on a pair of snow camo AF1's recently. I can relate to his need for cool shoes, that's for sure.

My son is 14 as well. He’s a runner (cross country, indoor and outdoor track), but not into sneakers like that. We buy him nice, high end running shoes, flats and spikes. I can relate to his need as well, since I have a shoe and clothing fetish :-D
