My first pair of RRL raws purchased during a Black Friday sale back in 2014 ...pictured today (so a little over 3 years). Worn literally every day. When I first got them ... all day every day for the first 6 months... then they became the jeans I put on after work, lounging around the house, or gardening etc.... This is what they look like when washed/dried in the washer-dryer every month (or when dirty) with regular detergent etc...
    These are American/Cone Mills...straight-slims

Does anyone know how the Congress boot fits as compared to the Bowery?

    Thanks

Most of the stuff was gone so I snagged a pair of the slim khakis. They are saying Simon slapped them with a big price increase at contract renewal and Ralph just pulled the plug on them.

Solid commitment. I have a few pairs of RRL jeans that I subject to frequent washes and I'm very happy with the outcome. I don't know where the 'wash once every 5 years' mentality came from. Before I switched to RRL I wore AG denim that I rarely washed and the fades never extended below the knee's, front or back. IMO, when you don't wash it makes for inconsistent wear patterns and for me they look strange.

I will post some pics and stuff when I get it. I just got shipping confirmation so hopefully it will be here by end of the week.

Fun fact: it ships from Italy (I ordered through UK site).

FYI there is an xl cowboy jacket listed on eBay, not the same one but a ridged blue denim.

Nicely done. I have a pair of cone Levi selvedge that I got in 2012. They never saw every day wear but I wash about once a month. They look about like yours (no combs on mine either).

How come no combs for you and Cooly? Because you wash them frequently?
