I would just leave them long enough to cuff/roll when you feel like it...

Thanks, folks. I'm in the same camp, and opted to go with a basic hem sans cuffs. For starters, I just don't think it looks very good. It also requires that you sport a crease, and I've yet to see Officer Pants that look good with a crease.

Hi folks, I'm looking for both of these RRL fair isle vests - I wear a size Medium. If you have one you'd be interested to sell, let me know!

Also down to trade RRL pieces - I've got a big collection.

Looking at the last few years, we can expect the next sale to start between November 15 and Thanksgiving.

Ralph Lauren is pretty consistent with its yearly schedule of sales.

The hell happened to the RL site? Can't find my wishlist, regular Polo stuff came up when picking "shirts" from the Double RL page, I can't find some items that were on the site yesterday. Odd. The new layout is better though. Hoping they're still working on it.

The option to ship to Canada through Borderfree has been disabled, hopefully only a temporarily hiccup.

RRL is going off on the newly re-introduced women's line... kinda wish there was a denim chore coat version on men's side. I was at the Madison Ave store the other week and ran into Bruce Springsteen looking through the vintage display. Cool dude, great style.

Curious if anyone on this forum has altered low str8's into 'slim fit'... i.e., decreasing the leg opening from 15.5-16" down to 14.5 inches and making the necessary adjustments to waist, cuff, etc... I would assume the slim fit cut has more of a taper than a straight leg, so some type of alteration will also need to be made to the cuff?

I have an amazing denim tailor in LA @ Lot, Stock and Barrel.... if anyone can do this, she can. I'm just wondering if others have had this experience and what your outcome is.

I have. I get low straights or straights and send them out to get tapered and shortened (a company in Southern California that can do chainstitch alterations keeping the selvedge line/detail intact- not Lot Stock, but I'm sure they can do it). My local tailor takes in the waist and seat. Basically, I have the whole dang pair recrafted because I can't get the top-block-to-thigh ratio correct off the rack.

Most of the new stuff looks to be catered to Indians. Is it just me?
