1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I can also attest that this guy is absolutely phenomenal in person. I thought it ran a bit small - smaller than what I would've thought for a piece like this. I'm typically always a Medium in RRL shirting, and prefer M in most outerwear, but the M in this was just a bit too snug for my liking and that's even for me down here in Texas where we don't get to layer much ha length on the piece was great, texture was a great layerable weight as well

Interesting. I had the same experience with another zip cardigan. It ran way small. This one from last year:

Right. Bethany is definitely a gal, and a bad ass one at that. However, you've misinterpreted the casual use of "this guy" when I was just referring to the sweater.

    Those are hand knits, no?

Some sizing variation should be expected - the patterns are typically drafted per stitch and even if hand knitters are using same size needles yarn etc there can be dramatic differences in finished measurements from quirks in knitting style and tension, especially with stranded colorwork.

Thanks! How did they feel to wear? Do you think they're rebadged Red Wings or Aldens?

Nothing about the details of those boots look Alden or even Red Wing to me.

They were fine in terms of comfort -- more like Red Wings than Julians in terms of fit and stiffness. I don't think they are Red Wing or Alden. Someone on this forum probably knows. Maybe Thorogood, Chippewa or Carolina? The old Cat's Paw style RRL-branded soles were the cool on them

C&J country boots are quite sleek, yet they make the Bowery for RRL.

I had typed 'made' and was autocorrected. The point still stands though.
