1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Regarding the Owens vs. Menlo, I own both of them. The Owens is already my favorite jacket. Great leather, sturdy, with a good fit.

The Menlo is a different kind of jacket. (And there a number of different LVC jackets with the Menlo name.) I didn't wear it for over a year, but it's been growing on me. Leather is very soft and buttery. What I don't like about the Menlo is how the buttons are attached. I've had to have them all redone—a big nuisance for a jacket at this price point.

Buttons are a problem with a lot of brands these days—including RRL (mostly the western shirts).

Another great jacket is the RRL Davis in suede.

Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but $500 for the Wellhouse in size L strikes me as mighty fine.

Is the slim narrow jean a completely different fit than the usual "slim fit"?

Yes. Also definitely size up one on your normal size. The XL measured 22" p2p, typical large size

How much stretch have folks had w/ the Slim Selvedge Pant? I went down from 34 in the officer chino to 33 in these, but it's still a pretty marginal fit. I think I might have to get a 32. It's like I'm going back in time.

Just washed mine for the 1st time yesterday after about 20 wears. Gentle cycle, cold and line dried. Didn't shrink at all.
