I had the same issue and ended up buying the large after I already had worn the medium, so now I have both. I wear both but usually just the large. Good luck finding it - it will show up one day. There is a large in the wood version from a few years earlier but it runs more normal sizing.

Just a heads up - many items listed on eBay from Japan are just reposted from Japanese auction sites (Yahoo Japan, usually) with a HEAVY markup.

You can use a proxy service like Buyee to search Yahoo Japan Auctions - I found what looks like the same jacket, listed for $475 (https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/r1067320111). You'd just need to create a Buyee account and pay for shipping from the Buyee warehouse to the US / wherever you are located!

I use buyee too often, so I can vouch for them being a legit service!
