I'm planning to list a few items here soon (then eBay once I figure out how to set things up for selling). On here, how do buyers pay sellers? I assume once that's done, then sellers ship the items out? Or is there some sort of coordination for safe payment and mailing of items? Thanks...

Generally: Seller posts items, Buyer pays with PayPal and Seller ships. A degree of trust is required although using PayPal Goods and Services provides some protection in both directions. The nominal fee can be worth it especially for people who have some apprehensions.

However, I just sent a guy on the Alden thread $750 friends and family without really thinking twice about it. Not that I know the guy, but his post history made me feel confident enough. (May be too much!) I guess we will see in a few days if I was right or not! Pretty sure I am am.

Thank you! I have an eBay account and bought a handful of items over the years with PayPal (linked to my Visa). A year or so back, I had previously posted a few items on eBay and a buyer wanted to buy a jacket from me. He paid but I was unable to receive his money because I think my PayPal wasn't set up correctly somehow. I was busy at the time with work, and we agree to not continue with the transaction as he would have to wait until I figure what was wrong on my end. Now, a year later, I still haven't looked into why my PayPal account could not receive money! Just to be clear, I've buying stuff recently and my PayPal account works just fine. Do I have to set up my PayPal account as a vendor or something?

No. While, there is a PayPal business account you definitely 100% do not need that to send or receive Goods and Services. Could've have been something wonky with eBay. There's no way to tell remotely.

Edit: ebay switched to Managed Payments and you cannot link your Ebay directly to Paypal for incoming sales. Perhaps this happened during the crossover?

Thanks again for the reply. I'll have to set aside time and look into it. Regards.

For sale is a rare RRL Fenton Leather Jacket Size S. It is in 9.5/10 condition, there are no flaws, tears, stains or blemishes I can find either in the leather and the inner lining. Comes froma smoke free pet free home. I am parting ways with this collectable Jacket as I just don't wear it enough, and it fits a little larger on me than I would like. Retailed for $2,000. Second photo is best representative of it's true color and patina. $750 or best offer, feel free to ask questions!

Oh man, if this were a M it would take me off my self-imposed leather purchasing sideline in a heartbeat. Beautiful jacket, and great price.
