Berlin jeans are a size larger than marked Detroit are slightly smaller than true to size. Dress pants are all over the place

Hi everyone, looking for some help on a recent Yoox purchase: Just received these 2018 army boots and noticed the size label on the inside of the boot, it doesnt look anything like my other rick boots that normally have "Made in Italy size" printed across the top. also the zippers don't have the Rick Owens engraving on the back like the rest of the 2018 mainline footwear. Has anyone seen this in their 2018 boots?

Did Yoox sell me a fake/ B-grade/ sample pair? Or is it just bad QC by Rick?

FWIW nobody is producing even remotely passable fakes of these items. It's not a t-shirt, nor do the shoes say "Gucci" on them.

Could just be a sample? I've seen some very bizarre colors of ricks (and cp's) over the years on yoox...once in awhile there seems to be an influx of 20 or so models in only size 10/43 ricks leading me to believe they are samples

Thanks, definitely makes sense that it might be a sample. It was also priced lower than most of the other RO boots on the site.

I wear them almost every day. The leather from the more recents seasons I prefer to the older models. Each pair seems to fit a bit differently, but they are comfortable enough to wear all day long.
