ssense seems to be 50% off all rick now
yep, as of yesterday...
they got mainline ramones for 500-600
Slightly tempted to grab a pair of Ramones...
Stooges for $1700. Size 50 and 52 (fits like 48 and 50 by the measurements)
Not sure what the leather code is. Looks like a slightly sueded/rough lamb
this is the weird one that turns into a bag. i don't like the buttons on the cuff
Will SS16 be livestreamed tomorrow?
Edit: nvm says right there on official site.
For anyone that cares, I received a blistered lamb jacket that was getting exceptionally dry and faded (that sickly looking green color that seems to show through on Rick jackets) in some areas. I used Saphir delicate cream very sparingly, working it into the jacket with my fingers. The color deepened to black and the leather now feels significantly rejuvenated, but it lost the "sparkle" of the blistered areas and now appears much more like regular lambskin.
Hard to tell from the picture, but you can see the shoulders as well as the bottom hem are a bit smoother:
Do mainline ramones have a slightly bulkier shape than the drkshdw canvas ones, or is it just because of the thicker materials? Very tempted to grab the ssense ones but I kinda prefer canvas so I'd feel better about beating them up.
Edit: read that coldknife said the main line ones will last a lot longer. I also have a slightly high instep so perhaps the leather ones will fit better. kopped
Anyone have these cotton shorts from this season that can comment on them? Weight of material? Thinking of picking up at 70% off. Im assuming their mainline Pods, but it seems mrporter doesnt always list style name and drkshdw/mainline, can anyone confirm?
i retract my statement: they are mainline now that i've seen them on the site
They're mainline. Semi tailored. Tougher slub cotton. I just got them in yesterday, i'll post some pics. they're pretty heavy and not very comfortable to be honest and the drop is much more extreme and isn't very comfortable to pull off. Material is cool though.
Thanks for your feedback on them, it sounds like they may be too heavy for summer comfort steez.
Couldn't find an answer on this -
I bought a Faun SS15 Sternberg in Lamb from Farfetch ( It was very distressed and completely different from what I received) only to have actually received Faun Sternberg in Kangaroo according to tags. Obviously a mistake if so, but a few things concerned me..
The tag doesn't quite stick out like other RO products where there is ample length in the two tabs and the garment tag sort of dangles. they're sort of stitched right onto the seam.
also, 2095 EU roughly translates into 2300 USD which seems awfully inexpensive for kangaroo at list price. Thats lamb pricing for sure.
A few more pictures to show the thinness and leather. I don't have much experience with Rick Kangaroo but to me this smells and feels like other lamb products.
Anyone have any experience with this leather? The jacket is thin as paper (even thinner than the lamb glass ice) and light as a feather. Almost seems too delicate. Could this be a factory defect or mistake ? Does kangaroo usually look like this?
Thanks for your help everyone.
I still see the leather ramones for $940
How do you guys get it to 500-600 ?
