Thank you very much! Do you know about the LA leather code? Or does anyone else? It should be lamb but what specific type...

Oh thanks very much! When you say thinner, is that necessarily a bad thing/quality issue? I'm not especially looking for a heavy/winter-proof RO, so just curious if it makes any difference that way. Can't imagine RO calf would be of shabby quality anyway?

IMO any of his non blistered spring weight leathers are kinda shit. i wish i could punch everyone selling oiled calf leathers under the guise of them being the famed f/w oiled calf

Just out of curiosity I have a blistered lamb high neck intarsia that is pretty thin. I love it bc I have heavier biker jackets for the cold but I'm just wondering will it hold up well? Or does the thinness compromise the integrity?

Will be fine, thicker leather is not nevessarily more durable

Requesting information on another one, please. RU 2761 /LC. I'm guessing that's just washed lambskin? It's a high-collar intarsia. Difficult for a newb to quickly get a sense of which of RO's leather jackets are the ones to go for if one wants a luxurious piece, given how many types of jackets he puts out...

EDIT: Also, is it weird that all the sizes are simply marked "S" rather than the actual Italian/US sizes?

Do not quote me on this as I am not sure but I think the older jackets had letters for sizing... Quite a few of my older jackets were like this as well (including the misprint on the color portion).
