1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    • Heard back and the online store will fix up my order issue immediately and ensure I get the correct Blazer Coat (Navy) in a Size 40.

Regarding the Unstructured Blazers, when I compare the measurements of the Blazer Coat in 42 (L below) and Unstructured Blazer in 42, they appear to be quite similar.

In fact the Unstructured Blazer's chest and shoulders are bigger comparing 42 and 42 (L).

So by sizing down to the 40 in the Blazer Coat, based on measurements alone, it looks like the Unstructured Blazer in 42 would be slightly too big like I found the Blazer Coat in 42.

I guess there's more to consider than just those measurements though?

I ask because toothsomesound explained to me that the unstructured blazers fit smaller overall anyway and even with sizing down to the 40 in the Blazer Coat, I should still go with the 42 in the Unstructured Blazer.

Basically, a 42 Blazer coat does not equal Unstructured blazer 42 even if the measurements seem similar. Something to keep in mind for those considering ordering these items.

I did notice that despite the size 42 measurements being similar across these 2 items, even the model on the site wears a 38 in the Blazer Coat and a 40 in the Unstructured Blazer.

Does the Ervell store ever go lower than -50%, and when do they typically pull FW stock to make room for SS?

Pretty sure they didn't, I checked my email from last year and there's only emails for 30% and 50%. Plus the 50% email always says 'final markdowns'

And by this point there really isn't much left anyway.

Full run of that floral field coat...

    And pants.

If Ervell goes 70% I'll make a lot of unnecessary purchases.

Stupid question but is it just me or does the cardigan have a more sort of formal vibe? I was thinking about getting one but something tells me it will work much better with trousers than jeans. Maybe it's the taped placket, or the button snaps, or maybe something else. I seriously need some good dark trousers. Maybe the way it it styled on the model is making me think this way.

People say this every season about every single brand, especially during the release of spring/summer collections.

BTW What's the verdict on this season's collegiate jacket?

The increased branding isn't to my taste. I know what year it is!
