Yeah the tag states SS13xxx.

I noticed the Khaki (which they called Camel for FW12) has the moleskin and removable lining.

That is the jacket which whyme? has and mentions above.

    ..

I heard back from Start-London overnight and they have acknowledged that they made an error and the Grey they had listed as in stock is in fact not available.

They sent me the SS Khaki version incorrectly however it was priced as if they were sending me an old stock FW12 in Grey.

In the end I've received the latest version for $290 landed. Still, a little disappointed as I wanted the darker color which I think looked much better.

the difference is that the khaki you received is a spring/summer version, which is why it wasn't lined. it has the drawstrings because the design is a take on a 60/40 jacket

As I mentioned above, I was sent the wrong jacket (I ordered Grey). I've been considering sending it back and tried it on again today (it's been wrapped up since it arrived). I am unsure of both the color (against my complexion) and sizing. Other than the sleeves being a little long (like always with me), it doesn't 'feel' too big. What do you think? It is a jacket after all and will be worn over other items so I wouldn't want it too fitted, but an M might have been better than the L anyway.

I think the size looks good actually, a size smaller would not have been a good idea. I do kind of agree about the color though

Yeah I am less concerned about the size and more about the color.

Will be sending back I think. Unless someone here wants it? BNWT and only tried on.

PE site still has it for about $440 + shipping. I can pass this on for $290 + cost of shipping (my exact costs).

    Size L.

Looks great!! Man... I'm hoping a size S fits me. I think we're about the same specs. I'm around 5 feet 7 inches. May I ask what shirt size you usually wear, like in Gitman, BOO, APC etc...?

    I'm 5 feet 8 with a 32"/33" waist and I wear size 32 Acne/APC denim.

    Shirts;

    GBV - M.
APC - M/48 unless slim fit, then L.

If there's one thing that I have learned about clothes, even thought it took me forever to accept it, it's that you should never buy anything that isn't a great color for you. Nobody will ever care if all your clothes come from the same 4-5 main colors. There's no reason to buy something that doesn't go with your skin tone, no matter how much you like it otherwise.

I do love me some Navy.

Perhaps next season the field coat will be Navy and I can jump on that.

    So many different opinions. [IMG]

Some say colour is not suitable but size is fine, and vice versa. Personally, the size isn't too bad except for the sleeves.

The colour is what gets me. I think the darker would have been 100x better.

I've already advised them i'll be sending it back and am on the lookout for another parka/jacket. Just unsure of who or what.

Ideally something which is not too bulky. Am considering a Navy parka from Kitsune. The navy is in stock in size M.

.. it also comes in a bright red? [IMG] http://uk.menlook.com/parkas/parker-red-parka-88949.html

    Here's the Navy. http://shop.kitsune.fr/t/men/sales#/p/parker-b-slash-ss13

elisix: if you want a rain parka, look at nanamica, EG and WWM, Kitsune is pretty junky too. I looked at a bunch of their stuff in NYC and was completely underwhelmed. Really branded and very expensive.

Thanks Teger. Never looked at Nanamica before and really like the look of the Riding Jacket.

On Kitsune, appreciate that they're expensive, but I've never paid retail for a single item of theirs.

    Massive fan here. :)
