Has anyone ever handled the F/W'11 or any wool trousers for that matter?
Is the wool lightweight or more of a heavy weight?
I'm thinking of getting a pair but not sure if they'll be too thick for S/S wear.

I've never handled any myself but if they're F/W wool trousers i'm guessing they're not something you'd want to be wearing during hot summer months...

True, but they're also cropped so I'm guessing they'd be a bit more breezy.
But if the feel of the wool is pretty thick then it's definitely not suited for the warmer weather.

Most of the Ervell trousers I own are wool (FW versions) and they are made for the respective season, meaning that FW wool are of a heavier weight. I have been able to wear a few during cool spring days, but mine are all now in the closet since the warmer weather has finally arrived on the east coast. Tropical wool is what you would want to be looking to get for the spring/summer season.

Oh and I wouldn't really consider them cropped unless you're 6 ft. tall or more. I'm 5'8" and have had to hem all of mine. I think original inseams are around 33" or so.

I haven't bought one this season, but I asked the web store guys about the fit a few weeks ago. Their reply: "The Pocket Sweater fit hasn't really changed, it would just feel different in the Spring/Summer pima cotton yarn compared to the baby alpaca." So yes, TTS.

Also, if anyone is looking for a white granite long sleeve I have one in L (a very slim L this season, would be fine for a M) that I worn once before realizing it's just too slim. Send me a PM if interested :)

Does anyone own the 'standard pants'? What's the thigh measurement?

I need a "bigger" (aka not slim) pair of pants to pair with my "anti-fit" sweater from S.Schneider. (currently up on SWD classified)

I had to size up two sizes for this season's suiting/outwear. Make sure you check the measurements... his size 44 fits like a normal size 40.

Shame SF bloomingdales didn't have the marble shirt. Seems like almost all of their Ervell makes it to 40% off every season.

On a different note, sadly it's true what people said about shirts being slim this season. My marble print shirt in L is a bit tight in the midsection. Should I starve myself for fashunz?

Feel the suiting cuts fit nobody, I sized up to 42 and 44 but both times fit was way off, but on a 40 I can't even get my arms fully through. My super skinny brother didn't fit in the suit neither in 36 or 38. It's a shame as the stuff is pretty well constructed and good for shorter people.
