kind of interested to see the fit. I like to taper and slim my legs with a slightly over-sized waist.

Ervell is 20-30% off at Thecorner.

    Fits pretty snug then?
I usually wear in between an XS-S in Ervell, so if I were to layer a shirt + knit should I size the jacket up to a M?

I usually wear xs in ervell shirts and the xs quilted shirt jacket I used to have was just a little too small, so I'd go up one from what you wear in the shirts.

    I see, thank you!
Also, is it pretty substantial for our Chicago winters? (Layered with a shirt and knit of course)
    Definitely considering purchasing from Thecorner.

I have the burgundy pima cotton cardigan in XS, willing to trade for the same in S. PM me

Or I may be willing to sell at what I bought it for, but I would really much rather trade for a Small , or if anyone has one in a small PM me and I will buy outright

Tan slim jeans came in from gilt. Not really what I had expected when I ordered, but I still really like them and will be keeping. I noticed that there is no season on the tag. Are these a made for gilt thing or just swapped out the tag when it got sent to gilt?

My current season Ervell things didn't list a season on the tags, so I think that's how it is. I grabbed a pair of the sueded cotten formal pants form Gilt, and they actually placed their own sticker over the Ervell one on the tag. It was labeled "Formal Pants FW2012.300" or something similar.

    How so?

Also, as far the season, I'm pretty sure there was never anything made specifically for gilt. They usually stamp the season very lightly so it might just have faded away.

I originally thought they were like the twill jeans, but smash had said it was more of a moleskin type fabric. It is some kind of thick, soft cotton. Nice regardless, just seem more like chinos than "jeans."

anyone owns this baseball jacket? I was wondering if you can tell me whether it fits large/TTS/small (best if there is measurement). I'm a 38" chest.

Pocket sweaters... Can anyone compare the softness of their baby alpaca to cashmere?

it's as soft as cashmere but not as silky smooth.

Also, there's good cashmere and bad cashmere and it also depends on the weave.

TBH I prefer the alpaca for most purposes.

Anyone order the deep purple alpaca knit cap? I asked for it for my upcoming birthday, figure it'd be pretty warm/soft and not as fitted as the fair isle baby alpaca caps from last F/W

Just noticed the stitched patch inside the sueded formal pants from Gilt say FW2012 on it....all sorts of confused since Gilt usually sells old stock, no?
