1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

^ Thanks for the pics, this is PITA work right there (I should know... ). I can put that in the first post if you want.

    i'm liking the futuro-fairisle.

i would wear a lot of the pieces knowing ervells cuts/materials.. but i honestly dont understand the point of putting it on a runway.. there's always like 5-6 statement pieces that won't get produced anyway but otherwise the whole thing looks completely ordinary

You know, I would've said the same thing after SS 11 but after thinking about it for a while there's always a visual identity in Ervell shows (something that labels like Rag&Bone don't have imo) and a part of that would indeniably be lost by not puttting a runway. Ervell can be minimalist or boring or repetitive or plain or whatever but it always remains a visual experience first and foremost, something a showroom is lacking in.

I know it's probably a losing proposition to put out a bunch of latex capes or jumpsuits - especially for a smaller designer like Ervell - but part of me really wishes that menswear would get a little bit weirder (for lack of a better term). Everyone should be forced to put out something at least at the strangeness level of a jumpsuit.

    For real.

Yeah, love the little details like that.

I really want the hidden placket white oxford or broadcloth shirt.

And the belts and the straps on the backpacks are made from pony hair.

I am tempted to get some Ervell dress pants. Can I expect to find them on sale, or is it usual to fork out the 370?

    exactly my thoughts.

it also looks somewhat non-cohesive even though some pieces stand out

Any Euro-stockists besides TBS and HaC?

And, where can I find the Docs used on the website?

Aplace doesn't seem to stock Ervell anymore. Pretty sure the shoes aren't Docs but Red Wings, look for the 'Postman' oxfords, they're around 200.
