A running back who you can't count on to take it up the middle is useless. Defenses will just plan on him being in the edges.
Also, I don't get fantasy football. At all. It just seems like a colossal waste of time.

oops you're right my bad

thought he was a wr for some reason. probably gonna be doing mostly special teams i guess or as you said trying to get by on the edges

As happy as I am with a Cowboy win in the meadowlands I am really worried about that god awful offensive line... That has to get fixed pronto.

I've been at this too long to get too excited about an early season Cowboys win. That said...IF Kevin Ogletree's performance tonight wasn't a fluke (and that's a big IF) then Romo has the best receiver corps he's ever had, with three legitimate playmakers, and has an opportunity to finally live up to his potential. The o-line is a mess as usual (I still don't know how they can't get that together after so many years) and Ratliff is needed back desperately, but I dunno, maybe this season will be something other than completely depressing. Sean Lee is quickly becoming my favorite Cowboy.

I thought the replacement refs did a great job last night. Was not a great night for the NFLRA's bargaining position.

Romo played very well last night. Let's see if he can do it at the end of the season and the playoffs. I'm surprised SF member Tony Romo (has he changed his username?) hasn't shown up to inform us that the game proved that Romo is superior to Eli.

My thoughts exactly with the caveat that I didn't think the O-line was that terrible yesterday if you take out 6-8 of the stupid penalties. I was very impressed by the D and am starting to think they could make a run. I'd also like to see Jones get more carries, if for no other reason than to keep 29 fresh and healthy. Neither of those guys is the type of RB that you want to trot out for 25 carries a game.
