Yeah that eye looked sick, John Anik is almost as bad as Mike Goldberg with his observations. He was all "I have looked DC in the eyes on many occasions and I have never seen his eye look like that." At least Mike Goldberg was likable.

Stipe clearly won but he Usman'ed his way to victory. Somewhere Randy Couture, the Godfather of wall and stall, is smiling.

Costa is an uneducated, predictable brawler, a MW version of Mike Perry. Adesanya counters him all day and knocks him out.

I've seen Costa at +160 and think it's on the lower end of the range I expected. Though Costa's shot selection and bodywork alone put him way above "MW Mike Perry" for me lol. I'm super interested to see what happens if they get into the clinch.

The press conference was entertaining.

For reasons I don't entirely fathom, I kind of think Costa wins. "Got a feelin' in me waters" as my Great Aunt Maude used to say.

I guess in practical terms, that only really happens if he can either clinch it up and land something miraculous, or out jiu-jitsu him. But to out JJ him, he'd have to get it to the ground, and I don't see his takedowns being good enough for that.

Still, I'll take Costa no reason other than to make this thread more interesting and to disagree with AC.

Chris, care to make it more interesting haha?

Man I wanted Costa to win but he pretty much just handed over that leg on a silver platter. I thought Rayes was gona move better than he did considering he arguably beat Jon Jones in their fight. Good night of fights though.

Drowning in my great aunt's waters.

Bottom to near-top, entertaining card.

Yay Jan. Every time he opens his mouth I like him more. Press conference while Costa and Izzy were acting like kindergarten kids, they ask him if he has a similar rivalry - response basically - "I like him, but I want to beat him, then we go drink beer together". Post fight "was not worried, soon I'm going to be a father. This scares me.". Love that guy.

Costa just no showed. So worried about being countered that he never threw. Could hardly have ended worse if he did.

And if course Izzy just acts like a total dick in victory.

The end of the main event was what I expected. I didn't expect that leading up to it Costa would spend more time mugging and taunting than fighting. At least go out on your sword, man. I don't see anyone at 185 threatening Izzy soon. Gastelum may put up a good fight again, but he's at the back of the line now.

The co-main event was a lot more exciting. Very impressed by Blachowicz and disappointed by Reyes. I had Reyes in the fight due primarily to his performance against Jones. It looked like Reyes greatly underestimated Blachowicz's skill and power.

Chael is saying Weidman presents the biggest threat. Interesting thought
