Been meaning to try Rustic Canyon for awhile now. Thanks for the pics, just the motivation I needed to drag my ass out of the house. Curious to see how it compares to all the other "best" burgers in LA.

Kiya, is there an Irish option available? I won't be in town but I'll let Jason talk you into driving to Los Feliz to my Danish ice cream shop while you're in LA.

I actually liked Stout a lot, but maybe my judgement was semi-clouded because the waitress was really pretty and helpful. Sucky thing is that it is in Hollywood Hollywood, meaning parking = [IMG]

Depends on when you head over there. During the day it blows because of tourists and the film institute and at night because of everyone else. Sunday night's about the only time I head over because the area turns into a ghost town.

Speaking of that stretch, I went to Five 0 Four a few weeks ago. Wasn't as bad as Dillon's but same kinda "drink a ton for cheap" attitude. Decent Cajun food, about what you'd get at any tourist spot in the Quarter (maybe a bit better), but the real highlights were the drinks. Best slurpee-like drinks I've tried, far better than any of the garbage I've sampled on Bourbon or even in Vegas. Some flavors were whack (ie, Red Bull & Vodka) but the Arnold Palmer was outstanding. But I still stuck with the liter of Bulleit Rye in a jug for $8 or whatever it was. Felt like I was drinking out of a fish bowl. Heaven.

Yeah. First summer in LA, Lotus? Welcome to the marine layer.

Hit up Soowoon Galbi today. Tasty but a bit pricier than the usual spots I go to. Good stuff and very clean with good service though.

December, assuming I finish my thesis in time.

I'm fucking down for that. You got audio equipment for your puter? We can start trading demos.

So Conderacy outsourced its e-shop? I knew they were in transition to be completely mens but this site has a fraction of what I saw a few weeks ago.

    Not that it matters...
