Have you done the bridge to nowhere? It's one of the longer hikes. They were trying to create a road that goes to Vegas ( I think ) and the huge flood in OC a while back stopped it. It's now used for bungee jumpers. There is a portion where you can try to scale a crock wall, there are even ropes and such left there to help you get across.

The water is a bit low if you go too late in the summer.

Nope, haven't done it but I keep putting it on my list since it's next to my shooting range.

I'll definitely check it out once I'm back next month.

When they still had it, yes.

The specialty meats weren't really worth the price. I normally go Korean there, anyway, so I don't taste the meat as much.

The only specialty meat burgers I'll get is at the Library or buffalo burgers out in Catalina.

the pork belly sandwich at library is fucking great as well

Nah, not the bar downtown, the alehouse on Main in Santa Monica.

But yes, I've heard that sandwich is legit. Forget what I ate their last time but it was good, too.

    Anyone been to Bouchon yet?

Was at Bouchon two nights ago, bread was great, food was decent. Also, not sure if its been mentioned in here but if you like french food, go to Melisse. I had the ten course tasting menu there a few nights ago and it was easily in my top three best meals I have had in America. Probably the best. That place is as good as it gets, highly recommended

Had some of the meat one, and its intense, but good. Some nextlevel homemade sausage on there. Homie said the margarita was really good and well done for a basic pie. Alla beno is the Hawaiian style, its great but I would get something different for first impressions sake. Go with some people and mix it up and share.
    Anyone had the squashblossom?
