I'm going to Ketchup on Sunset with a friend in a few hours, my first time since high school where the restaurant enforced a dress code. And it's supposed to be a hamburger diner.

Have never been there nor heard anyone ever mention that place so it must be one of those sunset traps.

Since when do you equate "good restuarant" with "Sunset?"* *Gate of India, Cliff's Edge excluded.

I think I first saw it on The Hills so I definitely wouldn't bother

9/10 Lives up to the hype. Probably helped that I went when no pretentious assholes were working.

Isn't this place owned by Ashton Cootcher?

Lies. This is on par with Katz. Is Katz 4/10 to you?

Speaking of which, for you Paradis doubters/rookies, tomorrow is their anniversary. Free ice cream from 12-4pm. Tell them "hvordan går det" for me.

You seriously need to get your pastrami gauge recalibrated. I had a reheated 1 day old Katz's pastrami sandwich that was better than the one time I actually got to sit down at Langer's.

The double cone got an 11/10. The ice cream itself was decent, but nothing earth-shattering.

Yeah, because I'm the only person in Los Angeles, let alone the US, that believes there's some debate on who's better. And you base this on the one time you ate there. Nice.
