done the umami thing, is there any new burger that inspires passonate disputes while living up to hype?
I don't do burgers much, but check these out:

Most of them seem very appetizing.
Soowon Galbi for KBBQ
What does Portland have to do with it?
i live in portland, i would never set foot in fathers office.
ah i forgot about ktown, i could kills some kbbq. what are the ktown izakaya spots? OB bear and all that?
I could really get down on some of those items.
When i left LB, i had my going away at "my past memories" in garden grove, a korean pub food spot. Highly recommend to the OC set.
Still got few leads on a casual summer suit. has anyone been in rth latley?
What does Portland have to do with it?
^ i should specify, the korean equivalent of izakaya spot. bar food.
The pedestal fathers office puts their burger / beer on would get politely knocked over up here.
The experience, vibe and cost is the antithesis of what a burger beer spot should be.
Come to portland, theres a table waiting for you!
/end rant
It's not a burger spot. It's a bar that happens to serve a great burger.

In my limited experience, Portland certainly isn't free from hipster-thronged places overcharging for faux authenticity . . .
