can't wait. I'm not expecting miracles, but I am hoping for a "wow, this is a lot nicer than what i've been getting from my Exilim"...some form of noticeable difference in point & shoot quality

My wife just bought a D-Lux 3 a couple of weeks ago, and that has been her reaction thus far, after using a Canon Powershot S500 for the past few years.

I had a DL4 then recently swapped to the Oly PEN to get me started on a compact digital camera with manual as well as swappable lens (in particular Leica M) in the preparation of getting a M8..

2 months later.. I get my hands on a M8 & 2 days of steep learning.. The PEN was an almost instant success for me (8/10 pics were IMO excellent for my level & more than enough for WAYW posts), as for the M8 it is frustratingly good - that is you have to work it (I may get 2/10 pics, but DANG it's a joy).

Yesterday was my 1st day of using a M8 for my WAYWT pics were with the M8 + CV 35mm f/1.4 (except of the ones of the M8 - that was by the PEN + 17mm kit pancake lens)

That Leica M9 looks damn nice, but I don't have the $7k to drop on it.

Almost certainly Filson, I'm more curious about the straps on those cameras.

I was curious as well; looks like it may be the small field bag. Very nice looking - never would have considered it based on pics on the site, and now I want one!
