sorry, late, but yeah, i'm pretty sure they were

the pic i was using was obviously shot with some pretty distinct, bright lighting (couldn't find any other pictures at the time), but even under natural lighting that first run seemed to use lighter dye

i think that you can personally attest to this, no?

like, the current iteration's dye is way darker than the above
