Here is a fun Monday morning exercise. We are trying to pick up a suit or two for our little guy. One is for a baby dedication and the second as an additional summer option which he could also grow into for a Caribbean cruise we are planning for at the end of November. One would be a smaller size to fit right now (2T) and the second to fit better later on through summer and hopefully the year (3T). Thoughts?

Staycation at the Salamander DC to celebrate the wife’s birthday and cherry blossom festival across the street at the Tidal Basin. Was a breeze getting there Saturday afternoon, and complete nightmare coming home Sunday afternoon lol. But the hotel stay was fantastic and the food was divine. And I was over dressed in Yeossal polo and loafers with Norwegian Rain pilot jacket.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day in the DC area yesterday and the whole band came out to jam. It was awesome. I sang a duet of War Pigs with a woman named Beth and it kicked ass.

I have a problem and you were right that this menswear stuff is dangerous and potentially expensive. I went full marsupial and bought two sport coats in the last few weeks that I should not have. Now I gotta run full hustle to balance the scales. Luckily i got some trips here soon to get expensed on.

On the bright side they are beautiful.

It does change a lot of words. The usual curses and epithets along with some seemingly anodyne words. Kind of annoying.

The funniest is when people talk about a formal shirt that has a long, straight cut in it, that you can stick your left hand into, to help you insert your studs. Apparently people (likely spam bots) were using the slang version of 's l i t' so now it looks really, really funny when people say "I am having my next french cuff shirt made with a **** in it." "Excuse me, a what?"

I moved from VA to MD during Covid and now need to get some suit alterations done since I'm back in the office some. I had a great tailor while in VA but don't really want to drive over an hour each way to the tailor. Anyone have any tailor recommendations in MoCo?
