Spent the weekend up in Philly visiting family and checking out the Jasper Johns exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Stunning stuff and I highly recommend it. Permanent collection there is amazing by itself of course.

They moved the statue years ago. Anyway the Philly marathon was this weekend and the front of the museum was blocked off as it's where the Start/Finish points were.

My wife and I went to the Washington Balalaika Society performance at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre in Rockville last night. It was a cool performance with music ranging from Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy to The Entertainer, all played on an orchestra primarily comprised of traditional Russian instruments.

Heading up to Frederick for Thanksgiving later and sale shopping in a quiet house with coffee now. Lots of nice stuff on sale here. I've ordered rom these guys before and they ship fast.

EDIT: ordered a few pieces from Lardini and Caruso for me and my son. Some very nice stuff available.
