A quick update on the poll:

The preferred date so far is Wednesday August 25 and the leading venue is Jack Rose. I will not make a decision just yet however that is the status of the vote so far.

I went there for an anniversary dinner and it was quite enjoyable.

Can't remember when in the thread this was, but here are some anniversary-level restaurants I've been to and would recommend:
- Iron Gate (all around one of my favorite restaurants, consistently good food, reasonably priced and a really cool space)
- Kinship
- Punjab Grill (just had this last weekend, inventive dishes and cocktails, try the Malabar sea bass)
- Anju (a little more casual but very elevated food)
- Tabard Inn (only had brunch there but I assume dinner would be just as good)
- Sushi Ogawa (for omakase)

Great. Dauphine's was the It Restaurant even before Sietsema's review. No chance of getting a reservation there any time soon.

lot of bad memories for me. Got dumped by a girl in person instead over a text or a phone call. I asked why the F in person and her response was that it would have been rude to do it any other way. Sorry for sidetracking.

Anyways, anyone here wear Boonie hats? I have a big freaking head and cannot wear baseball caps.

I wear a boonie hat when kayaking, boating, or at the beach. I have a Tilly Endurable that has lasted forever. I have a few others like an old desert camo one I wore in Iraq. Only piece of military gear I ever wear.

Actually, she did the right thing. Always choose the hard right over the easy wrong.
