Saw the same e-mail. tempted, very tempted.
Is it wrong to be put off by the pockets? They rotated the fabric 45 degrees. Interesting but it gives me pause. Maybe I'm too conventional? I still really like it.

It is not wrong. If you are too conventional, then so am I. That style detail also gives me pause. That and I need another fall/winter over shirt like another hole in the head

Sorry for the double post. But I’m actually thinking of doing a custom shirt jacket through the Amroury. They have access to tons of Fox and other flannels, then get the jacket made by Ascot Chang. Could replicate this piece without the odd pocket choice.

Neat! I was looking at the sizing on the Fox bros overshirt and it's a bit boxy for me. Liking the Teba jackets a bit more.

Anglo-Italian has had some interesting "field shirts", like this one in a Russel Check that sold out within a few days of being released. Maybe they'll do a restock. From the pictures at least, I like the look of the slanted chest pocket flaps, and the collar that appears to be able stay up like a coat collar does. The fabric is also very nice looking of course.

I took a hard look at Anglo Italian for something like this. I prefer something with hip pockets.

Finally tried Spice Kraft and it was excellent. Ordered the basics to test them out. Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Channa Masala, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. Will branch out next time.

Well, it was nice while it lasted. Metro is fairly empty in the morning when I go to work. It's now getting very crowded in the afternoon. I come home around 4:00ish and the cars are getting full. 90% in masks but some not. Back to the bike for Monday.

On the plus side it gave me an excuse to order more winter exercise gear from Tracksmith! I'm quite happy to cycle in running gear. Not a great difference between the two.

One thing I liked most about their butter chicken was the cinnamon note.

Anyone know about the difficulty and cost of having leather altered/have any recs for the area? Got a jacket from the Mr. Porter sale that I'd like to take in about 1-2" at the waist
