Still way too warm for me to wear anything like a sweater or jacket. 50 degrees is perfect for a flannel as outerwear though.
I am a tropical person.... already got my sweaters out and all shorts and pool stuff already in a storage

Washingtonian.
I tried to support them year after a year, but lately it is just a fancy yellow pages. August edition was pretty much full of real estate ads and not much more. Guess I won’t renew this year. Feel that amount of ads in it should make it free.

anyone has a recommendation for a decent magazine to read?

ps. Yes. I took Washingtonian to read while doing the deed but now it is tossed on the bathroom floor... glad I have my phone. Otherwise would be reading the ingredients of my deodorant stick instead

I scroll through twitter while I'm on the can. I wouldn't recommend it.

Late summer fun (too warm to call it fall). Drake’s linen shirt, Brioni linen pants, C&J loafers. Taking Ikiji sweater in case it’s cool eating out on the water tonight.

Ikiji in the wild. Cooling down at sunset during smashing seafood dinner on the Jersey Shore. Just enough to need a sweater.

I'd say Bedo's is the area standard. Not exactly cheap and takes a little time, but I think he's worthwhile. He's pretty prolific in youtube:

The other option is Ah One Shoes. Aram is the brother of the owner of Sky Valet. They had a falling out a few years ago. Aram is the go-to repair shop recommended by Alden DC when you don't want a factory repair. Aram will change out speed hooks for eyelets and vice-versa. He will also convert soles from commando to leather and back or change the edge dressing. Alden factory will only restore to original specs. He had a store with Gaziano and Girling and Alden in NoVa for several years, but closed it about 18-24 months ago due to health issues. He started taking repairs on again last fall.

If you’re in MD or want to mail it, Cobbler Sunny is an award winning shop like Bedos. Check the IG or his website for his work.

Their website is trash as well. Almost as bad as DCist.
