RE: Indian Food, I quite liked Rasika. But, it wouldn't be one of my go-to spots because I am not a fan of indian food (generally). But Rasika surprised me - I went there with a girl who really liked my pocket square (above post, although it wasnt my shoes), and she was Indian, from Pakistan. Super hot, last I heard, shes dating a sheikh. I was proud of her when I heard that.

India and Pakistan are different countries. But I'm proud of you for going out with a super hot girl that one time.

Ran this morning and it was 42 degrees. Might need to get on that Rogue waiting list to get some weights. But did I mention I have zero motivation working out at home?

New target in Ballston had a few kettlebells available yesterday afternoon. An employee there told us that the falls church target off route 50 had more weights in stock.but you basically have to check everyday to see what’s available before going.

We finally got paper towels there too. Amazon didn’t have any.

we have a pair of dumbbells set to arrive from amazon next week that’s been on order for weeks. Who knows it may get delayed even further.

I had to cancel dumbbell order and get a refund. Kettlebell finally came through after two week wait.

I know we have cyclists here so I will ask this question. Is there a reliable device that can measure my speed as I'm running? I see speedometers for bikes but not for runners. Bummers.

Yeah, just this was somewhat similar. More of a sitting by the fire with a pipe and Scotch sort of sweater.

sidenote: I love the smell of pipe tobacco. My cool uncle (well one of my 2 coolest uncles) has smoked pipes my entire life. As a kid I would watch him empty it, fill it, light and smoke it while he was engrossed in deep conversation with my father. It was mesmerizing. One of these days I will look old enough to smoke a pipe without looking pretentious. Until then cigar, scotch by the fire for me

I don't know all these suburban Indian places! Back when my family lived in the area, we would go to Tiffin in College Park all the time for South Indian food (back then it was called Udupi).

Tiffin was my spot for years

There is another spot in a little strip mall off Rockville Pike & Shady Grove Road. Can't remember the name of the place but the food is very good
