Huh, I almost thought you were going to say Bayou when you said N.O. themed.
I’ve only been there for breakfast and don’t like it very much. Greasy biscuits and sausage. Yuck.

Ragtime has great beers on tap, cocktails and a decent menu. They do a good crab cake.

I’ve had it for five years now I think. Locks solidly.
Nice

very reasonable price and looks solid and stylish.
Wish I could see it in person before placing the order.

did like the description of their website. That it is a pain to make. Yet you can use it as a walking stick since it is solid.

I am appearing in court by Zoom today and wearing a suit for the first time in several months. On top at least. Due to Coronavirus weight gain, my suit pants are way too tight in the waist and thighs. I don't want to take the chance of them splitting when it doesn't matter--I will be standing the entire time at a standing desk so the court will only see me from the mid-chest up. I am also wearing easy pants and espadrilles. Business up top and party down below as they say.

I’ve seen friends go through drastic weight gains over the past 20 years but I’ve practically been the same size since high school graduation. I haven’t tried on any of my tailored outfits since March.

I still fit into the same suit I wore on my first day of work out of college...in 1999. I take no responsibility for this, however, since I eat terribly and never work out. Grateful for good genes.

Doing okay here. Cycling a lot and running a bit and managing to keep my same waist size.

Have to admit that it’s not easy as I get older, though. The couch and a good book always beckon...

Yeah, not a fan of their food other than the coffee and beignets. I miss ragtime and the general quiet-ness of that area.

Clarendon has returned to being a noisy **** show on weekend nights with sirens and party goers revving up their sport cars and honking non-stop. I hope that they truly enforce the new sidewalk rule.

I actually learned how to pronounce Isaia from Captain Picard himself...
When he hears you pronounce it "eye-SAY-uh"

Ragtime gets crowded but they do the distancing thing at least. We only go when we get a patio table.

I'm friends with Neomi and a few other Mason law professors. Very smart, very conservative. Interesting trivia about her: she tutored former NBA star Chris Webber in math in high school (Detroit Country Day). According to her, Chris is not a dumb guy but didn't apply himself because he knew he was going to be a multi-millionaire in a few years.
Did not do a good job as he couldn't count the number of timeouts they had:

I hate myself. I was a skinny 6 ft dude all throughout my life (EDIT: This makes no sense. I mean all my adult life) until...I met my wife. Maybe it's just an excuse but because of her cooking, I went from 165 lbs to 200 lbs after we got married. I used to bike around Burke Lake (9 miles) almost every day which wasn't much. Plus I ate like a king for breakfast and eat a little for lunch and eat nothing for dinner. That was my life before marriage. Now I have man boobs. FML

Webber gets a lot of undeserved flack for the timeout. (I remember the game pretty clearly because I am a North Carolina fan.) First, he dominated in the second half and singlehandedly kept Michigan in the game. Second, after he got the fateful rebound, all of his teammates ran up the court and left him alone to bring the ball up. Jalen Rose in particular deserves blame for that. Webber clearly traveled right after getting the rebound but it wasn't called. North Carolina recognized that Webber wasn't a primary ballhandler and trapped him on the sideline with two defenders. I'm not sure what he could have done other than attempt to break the doubleteam and get a blocking foul.

You complaining about your wife that cooks a lot? Better be careful not to jinx it.

I jinxed my situation. I used to get lunches to take to work and to brag about it. ... after my son was born. It is no longer the case unfortunately.

though worked out as shortly after I started to work for treasury and go out with co workers each day.

One could also the only reason to be in shape is to get women. Once you already have one it's no longer a priority.
