What's proper etiquette for walking a dog on a bicycle path? With bicycle traffic or against it?
Always with traffic and listen for cyclists to announce passing on the left. Tighten up on leash in case Sparky pulls a Crazy Ivan and moves left.

This! Walkers, runners and dog walkers with traffic.

Good to know! I kinda thought against so everyone sees everyone else coming but looks like I've been the asshole this whole time!

it’s just like driving. Stay to right. Runners pass walkers on the left. Bikers pass runners and walkers on the left.

And you’re not an asshole. Not knowing the convention doesn’t make you an asshole.

20 miles today with a mid-ride break on Capitol Hill. Mask discipline around town pretty impressive. I put mine back on every time the waitress came by. Another velvet rope line of customers at Gucci for some reason. Not sure what's going on at City Center. Country ride tomorrow unless it's pouring.

I guess it was better out in DC today. Some folks around my apartment heading out tonight not wearing masks either. Folks at Eastern Market and vicinity were pretty good about it.

Wonder if this is an Arlington thing with not wearing masks. I was in Shirlington earlier, and not much mask use there. A few other times in Arlington, not many masks either. I've noticed a fair amount of mask wearing in Alexandria (including Old Town). Hmmmm...

Just now in my apartmet elevator a couple comes in from walking their dog without masks. Hubby is using one of those key-fob door openers for some reason. Not sure how that makes up for no mask? Sees me in mask and sheepishly puts his baseball cap over his mouth. Wifey just stares.

You're in Clarendon, right? Does Arlington have a mandatory mask order like DC?

does anyone know why all the politicians who went to Lewis' funeral in Georgia aren't required to be in quarantine like "the little people"?
