Thanks for your help. I'll post pictures when I get it. I ordered from watchshopping.com. they had the best price.

I do not own and never had the desire to own a nice watch...until relatively recently. I've taken a fancy to vintage watches. I liked the looks of Omegas and once considered a Seamaster Apnea as an everyday watch. My inner miser vetoed the idea at the time

Lately I have been considering older Rolexes. I can't afford the Daytona that I want but I have been thinking about a gold 36mm Datejust, fluted dial with a numberless lapis lazuli dial. This would be an everyday watch. Gold looks good against my skin

Omega had a watch called "Apnea?"

Those are about the most different two watches possible for someone to consider as "everyday" watches. I think those red circles on the Omega would get pretty old pretty fast if you wore that everyday. That seems more like a fun watch to buy when you already have 6 or 15 watches. The Rolex is beautiful, but I'd only consider it for everyday if I was wearing a suit daily.

The red circles only come into play when the diving timer is used (it's a free diving watch). Yes it seems like a novelty now but seemed really cool 15 years ago. Did I mention I didn't really appreciate watches back then?

Novel complications are only worthwhile if they're executed in an aesthetically pleasing way. IMO, that watch doesn't pass muster.

So how much social distancing will we see once we are let out of isolation in June?

Man I don't even know. Polling shows strong support for continued lockdowns and restrictions, but I wonder how much of that is people telling pollsters what they think they're supposed to say as opposed to how they really feel.

I mean from my vantage spot in dc, I don’t see many people social distancing at all.
