Sid Mashburn.
Can someone explain to me how it compares to some of the brands out there? I am absolutely clueless.
I have Formsa and E.Zegna suits, T&A shirts and E.Zegna shirts, and Spier & MacKay SCs.

Mashburn stocks different levels of suits, the higher the number, the higher the price. Entry level is Scuderi, then Andrea Campagna, and the high end was Sartoria Partenopea but they closed and I have no idea who makes them now.

They have ties from Drake’s, Petronius and their own house brand. Shoes from Alfred Sargent and some Italian maker. They have excellent casual wear and their in-house tailor is exceptional. Sales staff are really cool and know their stuff.

Overall I would call his look Southern Gentleman by way of Italy. It’s worth visiting to form your own opinion.

Thanks for the insight. My wife loves going to Gtown for them stupid Bluebottle coffee crap. So, I'll make an excuse. And then go to Leopold's.

I’m a big fan, Mostly because if you buy a suit they will tailor it extensively for free. And by extensively I mean they will do anything – shorten the jacket, widen arm holes, rotate sleeves, etc. They have very good tailors on staff but it takes them at least a mont to do major surgery because of the backlog.

I’ve got a couple suits that are mid-range, and one that is upper range. The only difference I can find is that the upper range suit has more handwork - they appear to come out of the same factory.

Also you should talk to Sid if he’s around he’s a cool guy

I'm by McPherson metro. I need a brush for my flannel SC. Where can I go to get a decent fabric brush? I don't want to use duck tape or lint remover.

Yes, but I kinda need one right now. I think I'm just gonna vacuum my SC. I have one or two Kent brushes at home.
