Suede bomber with a harrington-style collar from the old Britches of Georgetown:
Should I get it?? (Fortunately no one else who posts on this thread is this small so I don't have to worry about any of you vultures).
Looks nice. Kind of like a Valstar. I vote go for it!

That looks like it could fit my two year old. I foresee a bidding war!

Getting my first COVID vaccine shot tomorrow morning at Harris Teeter. For anyone who is still looking, check out the VaccineFinder website. I was able to find a convenient location and time in a few minutes after losing patience with DC pre-registration.
I had a great experience. No line, so I walked right up and answered a few questions. The only wait was for the pharmacist to prepare the shot. I look forward to returning to some semblance of normalcy in six weeks (second shot + two weeks).

Overcome by chores today but I managed a short ride. Went by Mass & 2nd where the young man was killed earlier in the week. Seriously busy streets in that area. Ghost Bike memorial was there.

Where are we meeting up when the weather gets nicer, people get fully vaccinated, and it is (relatively) safer to congregate in a group? I nominate The Brixton, which has one of the nicest roofdecks in the city. We had a SF meetup there many years ago. On a related note, it warmed my heart to see a lot of people eating and drinking outdoors on U Street. Many of them were patronizing businesses I had never seen before, so it looks like the pandemic did not completely destroy the DC restaurant industry.

Maybe later in summer when it's nice out, everyone is vaccinated, based on Covid status of the DMV? Lots of variables still out there.

Hopped on the vaccination bandwagon with my first shot today. Trekked out to Alexandria for mine.Waited maybe 5-7 minutes for my shot.
