Yeah, I remember that review. Quite a poke in the eye for them. I’ve always found F&D to be the better of the two. American comfort food with a decent bar. I prefer Old Ebbitt but it’s so hard to find a table sometimes.

Since I moved here everyone has been telling me to try Peruvian chicken. Finally ordered some from Super Pollo last night and it definitely lived up to the hype. The plantains were incredible as well.
Now I just need to find a nice Caribbean spot for this crazy oxtail craving I’ve been having

Cane on H Street gets consistently very good reviews. They do oxtails.

Damn. I went to the one in Tyson's thinking it would be the same as the one in DC. But I never went back because it was so bad. I just want to leave the most liked comment in the article.

El Chalan is still there? Good to know. They had really good dishes there. I had something with rice and meat. My office was at 20th & Eye so I went to this place quite often.

Their menu sounds delicious. Adding this to my list too. Trying to continue supporting all of these restaurants during this whole ordeal is definitely starting to show on the scale, since the fitness center is closed in my building
