Is it a Hudson's Bay Company blanket?

Last year I learned about the interesting history of these Canadian (though made in England) blankets and eventually bought one.

Those are awesome. One day I would like one for the basement. We are working on a pseudo Scandinavian mixed with RRL vibe for the decor down there.

Also that would be nice for how cold it has been.

I dropped those suit trouser to get fixed at the tailors. Got the Vintage EB coat in so I said why not wear it there. Still need to get it cleaned properly but love it already.

Time to get new hangers

God I thought that was Kirby for a second.

Anywho.

Apparently for the ol' berfmas the benevolent folks at BB hooked me up with some extra rewards, and I picked up a Tomas Mason linen dress shirt for the paltry sum of $5.95 (because apparently you can't use rewards to cover shipping--fair enough).

I know I know "you muppet, it's 17 degrees outside that's not linen weather!"

1. I aspire to be half as linen-savvy as the Lord's own Smitty.

2. It *WILL* be linen weather. Just you wait chumps and chumpettes.

Accidentally posted this in MC chat instead of DC chat.

Friends, how insane would it be to wear a white waffle weave (non pleated and turndown, to be very clear) dinner shirt as a dress shirt in some formal, slightly elevated evening situations?

I would never do it with my shirts that have obvious black tie accoutrements but this is buttoned and turndown and plain front.
