Please report back & ask if they’re marking off globe trotters. I’m thinking about it. But, of course, I don’t like the price 😂.
Is that a shoe?

EDIT: looks like it's closed today.

I suspect my physical therapy may be cancelled yet again tomorrow.

Good thing they also make me do stuff through an app they made me download lol.

ETA: I've also started working on a couple side bags (not full panniers or saddlebags, smaller ones that go over the little airbox covers on each side) for the Bonneville. Grabbed a couple black 4oz veg-tanned hides and am slowly working out a pattern and puttin em together.

Gotta pass the time somehow I suppose. ;)

Out of curiosity, where do you get your sozzi socks?
Just restocked some of my fav winter socks from Ben Silver. Their wool houndstooth or herringbone socks are fantastic.

Hey guys, sorry for the non-sequitur (and if this kind of thing has been asked/answered, still working on my facility with the forum searching/filtering feature), but any recs for commissioning an overcoat in the area? Looking to get an Ulster coat made in navy cashmere or maybe camel for durability. If the answer is to wait until the next time I’m in NYC in a couple months and have it ready for FW25, all good as well. Thanks!
I can’t speak for sure, but I’d wager Ezra Paul would make an overcoat. Most companies that do MTM tailoring can also do some outerwear. Worth giving him a call.
Was just at Ezra Paul and yes he can do an ulster (saw a sample in the shop and it looked great).
I was there just to pick up a vintage peacoat for alterations and ended up ordering a sportcoat in this navy wool/cashmere. Was on my list of "wants" and now it shall be mine!

We'll be in Milan next month (albeit just a few hours on the way to Venice, then an overnight on the way home); happy to grab some for anyone who wants right from the source....since I'll probably go get a few for me. ;)

I'd rock a peacoat in that cloth tbh. It's nowhere near heavy enough but hot damn. That in a nice 700-750g weight would cause severe humidity IFYOUKNOWWHATIMEAN.

It's been brought to my attention that at least one person doesn't know what I mean, so.....girls. I'm talking about what happens to the girls.

Anywho.

I’m checking Amazon for an “armedferret to English” translation guide. Google Translate was of no assistance.

"If that cloth came in a peacoat-worthy weight, it would cause a moistening of ladies' undergarments."

Best I can do on a federal holiday.

If you know me, and I think you do, I am all about the moistening of the undergarments when it comes to the ladies...

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
