Did he move again? I thought he was up on U Street.
Yeah moved last year. Needed more sq ft and to separate the clothing and tailoring businesses (tailor shop is adjacent now), it was getting too crowded for that space. We're on Connecticut a couple doors south of Un Je Ne Sais Quoi cafe. Believe it or not we were at the U st location for over 4 years. Hopefully this is the last move ever!

For those interested, Leffot is hosting an Edward Green trunk show in DC on November 12 and 13.

Not for me, I already have way too many shoes. Plus, I remember the days when EGs were $850/pair. :(

Man, just preordered a pair of C&J loafers. I’d also be afraid that EG would actually fit well and I’d be doomed.

I think it's easier to dial in a fit with EG because of the greater variety of lasts and widths. :colgate:

Nah, I’m guessing C&J is just as good when it comes to variety! :box:

I’d venture to guess you have more shoes than I do, but I’m not sure. I know at one point I was around 50. I only know that because a girl counted maybe 6-7 years ago. But I’ve sold some of them off that I don’t wear often.

Aren’t you at the point where you have shoes you don’t wear?

One nice thing about gaziano & eg is that all their models can be made in every single one of their lasts. I’m not sure if that’s the case for c&j

I was up to like 15-20ish. I started selling some and giving a few pairs to my brother. Now I only wear dress shoes up to 3x a week and only during the months of Sept-May.
