The only way they don't operate on the wrong knee is by writing on both. I had the same thing when I had my meniscus removed.

At the preop last week there were numerous instances where they wanted to verify it was the left knee.

it was not the left knee.

so missus did that this morning before we left the house, then the surgeon did some scribblies on the right one in prep.

everyone in the OR laughed when i showed em the graffiti lol.

so. how's everyone's day so far?


they did my ACL and repaired the meniscus, but thankfully the MCL was in good shape. recovery should be a lot less craptastic since no MCL issues.

A day or so of Oxy then Advil. Pain drops fast.

yeah. all told it really isn't that bad, i've certainly had worse. soon as i can get the bandage off (thurs/fri sometime) i can get the ice machine under the brace and that should help immensely. had celebrex a couple hours ago, gonna drop some tylenol shortly.

half an oxy only at night to help sleep, should be doing the last one of those tomorrow night.

they gave me like 40 of the damn things. an enterprising fella wouldn't dispose of them at the walgreens down the road that's for sure.

i'll opt to keep my retirement, so walgreens it will be.

Kimbrough appears the opposite. Honestly i wouldn't be surprised if some dude thought he was hookin people up and doing favors. The OR team was fantastic though, it has to be said.
