Green Day at Nats Park this past Monday. They never fail to put on a frickin amazing show. They played Dookie (30th anniversary) and American Idiot (20th) straight through.

Going to Decembrists/Mountain Goats on Sunday at Wolftrap. Anyone know if I'll be able to sneak a flask into that one or is security pretty strict at Wolftrap?

Wolf Trap doesn’t allow food into the Pavilion and the only drinks they let in are water bottles and the lidded cups they sell. You could get one of those and fill it with whatever you want.

I’ll be there are well! I’ve seen the New Pornographers a bunch of times but never without Neko Case (she’s touring on her own out West I think). Never seen the Mountain Goats.

The rules are pretty lax….can bring coolers and food, beer, wine, liquor…

As Smitty said, if you’re in the pavilion you have to park your cooler outside (there’s specific areas) and pour your drink into a lidded cup to take into the pavilion. Yeti, Stanley, the cups they sell are all acceptable. (Almost) Anything goes in the lawn. (See below)

Directly from the website:

• Alcohol: Alcohol is permitted, but no kegs.

So keep your keg at home.

Tried out newly opened Wagamama in my hood. Quite $ but definitely left very full. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and quality of food. It’s good to see this spot finally full. I don’t remember what was here before Oz restaurant but I hope this one sticks around!
