1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Am I that transparent? [IMG]

I really like the RO bags they have at the armoury ... if they made in dark brown I'd buy it like right now.

The glasers are really nice as well, an A4 day bag or the one I posted are fantastic. I may spring for one after my move.

I really like those RO bags as well. I was lucky enough to get a perfect dark brown bespoke Tramontano briefcase.

What's up with this threak vs thread thing? Why do you people call it a threak? Sounds stupid.

A thread is about stuff that you really need and want. A threak is about stuff that you want, but you really don't need. [IMG]

I was impressed with this bunch in Las Vegas (and in LA): http://weftdenim.com/

The site only links to a contact email at the moment...

Custom made denim, you choose the cloths and all the details, measurements.

They used to have deets on the website. As I recall, you had a choice of about 2 dozen denims, ranging from modest weight to very heavy raws. your choice on thread colors, rivets or no etc... shape and size and location of pockets etc... a fairly bespoke process and prices were a few hundred. I believe to date the only shops are whereever they are in LA (?) and the shop in MGM in Vegas. I think there are a few threads about them in Streetwear.

The change in the website makes me wonder if they are still active.

Embarrassed to say how many sunglasses I've bought in the past 2 months, but I really want these Zegnas too:

Maybe I'll sell a bunch of stuff to make it right in my head [IMG]

Damn you! I knew to look for these in a Zegna store, thanks to your post, during my vacation to Italy and now I own them. They are a nicest sunglasses I have ever owned and nobody in the US going to be wearing them so they are quite distinctive. Sadly, my experience is that the length of time to hold on to a pair of sunglasses is inversely proportional to the price. I hope they last the summer [IMG]

BTW, the price in Italy is exactly the same as the sunglasses-price.com price with shipping.

Actually... I -do- need a new pair of sunglasses...

yes! Tried these on at SH a billion times and couldn't justify paying 235. Ended up ordering them from optics planet for a lot less.
